Barry Devereux has over 25 years’ experience advising on complex M&A and corporate finance transactions across Ireland, the UK and South East Asia.
Barry was the Managing Partner of McCann FitzGerald, a major Irish law firm, from 2015 to 2022. During that period, the firm experienced strong and profitable growth, it navigated the unprecedented challenges of Covid-19 and Brexit, established an innovative LegalTech business and expanded its international footprint with the opening of its New York office in 2016. That period gave Barry deep, practical insight into leading a large, complex and diverse international business—experience that sits at the core of DVRX’s advisory approach.
Barry was a partner at McCann FitzGerald for 25 years, where he specialised in M&A and corporate finance and led both the Corporate Group and the Corporate Finance Group. Prior to that, he spent ten years with Clifford Chance, working in M&A in London before relocating to Singapore for three years as Head of Corporate Finance for South East Asia.
